The Post-Traditional Advising Office is here to help. The Post-Traditional Advising Office serves adult learners who may be returning or new to college. Assistance is provided in planning your academic schedule, connecting you to resources and answering questions such as how to navigate the academic system and how to apply past work experiences, skills and competencies to Credit for Prior Learning (CPL). Make plans to visit with the Post-Traditional Student Advisor today.

  • Advisor to support post-traditional students and provide customized advising
  • New Degree options including Transfer Pathways which awards a two-year degree and allows you to transfer to a four-year institution as a junior level
  • In-person and online free tutoring
  • Free Accuplacer Prep classes offered day and evening in our Math Skills Center
  • Credit for Prior Learning options are expanded
  • Flexible Full- and Part-time scheduling options
  • 8 week compressed classes, allowing you to focus on one class at a time and still use financial aid
  • Course delivery methods: in-person (seated), completely online, blended/hybrid, mostly online
  • Z-Degree - take courses with zero- or low-cost textbooks
  • Post-Traditional (Adult) orientation sessions
  • Scholarships for Post-Traditional students
  • Appreciative advising – structured on relationships
