Approved testing accommodations can be used on any exam, quiz, or test required for your courses. Students are responsible for communicating and coordinating needed testing accommodations with Testing Services and their instructors by following the Steps to Schedule Testing Accommodations. The mode in which testing accommodations are delivered may depend on student need, course delivery method, and/or staff availability.
Students not currently approved for testing accommodations through OSD, but in need of support and access to exams, should visit www.anokaramsey.edu/osd and complete the Steps to Request. The following information applies to those with a current Letter of Accommodation approved by OSD.
Steps to Schedule Testing Accommodations
Students using their approved testing accommodations (online or in-person on campus) are required to schedule exams/quizzes with Testing Services. Please follow the below steps to schedule your accommodations.
At least 3 business days prior to exam date, schedule your exams through the RegisterBlast link located in your class in D2L Brightspace
Note: Exams should be scheduled at the same time as class session unless:
- Arrangements have been made with your instructor
- Class times overlap and adjustments need to be made based on course schedule
- Exam is given outside of Testing Center hours; in which case you should find nearest time to your original exam with testing center hours as possible
Important Reminders
- Appointments must be scheduled 2 days prior to each exam/quiz
- Exams must be scheduled within Testing Center hours and completed 10 minutes prior to close
- Please schedule your exams as far in advance as possible. Review your syllabi at the start of the semester and schedule your exams early.
Arriving for your scheduled exam
Students are responsible for arriving to their scheduled exam session on the date and time confirmed by Testing Services. This applies to in-person and virtual/online sessions. Please review the following information related to scheduled exam sessions:
- Review the details of your confirmation email carefully before your exam session and contact Testing Services with any questions or concerns. Remember: You will be asked to show a valid photo ID (in-person and online) in order to test.
- If you will be late for your exam session, please contact Testing Services immediately, or your session may be cancelled.
Cancelling and Rescheduling exam sessions
- To cancel and/or reschedule your exam session, use the RegisterBlast link located in your D2L Brightspace course. Instructor permission may be required.
- Testing Services reports all NO SHOW exam sessions to instructors.
- If an exam session is missed due to student error, Instructors have the authority to determine if a make-up session or rescheduling is appropriate.
