Counseling Department hosts Breaking the Silence on Domestic, Dating and Sexual Violence event, March 21

Anoka-Ramsey Community College Counseling Department is hosting a domestic violence prevention discussion event with advocates from Alexandra House. The event is free, and the public is encouraged to attend.

Becky Smith, a counselor at Anoka-Ramsey believes this event will increase awareness around domestic, dating and sexual violence.

“Alexandra House is a great local resource with a lot of knowledge and experience with power-based violence. We are thrilled to have them join us on-campus to break the silence on this very important social issue,” said Smith.
