Anoka-Ramsey Holds Minnesota State Week and Transfer Week Events Oct. 12 – 16 Providing Opportunities for Current and Future Students

Anoka-Ramsey Community College will host virtual admissions information sessions and a suite of transfer events during Minnesota State Week, Oct. 12 – 16.
Minnesota State Week, hosted along with the 30 state colleges and seven state universities that make up Minnesota State provides an opportunity for future students to explore everything Anoka-Ramsey has to offer.
Future students can learn more about Anoka-Ramsey’s 100+ transferable courses and programs at virtual information sessions.
Admissions Information Session Event Details
- Tuesday, Oct. 13 from 2 to 3 pm
Session will include an opportunity to visit with faculty from the English Department. - Thursday, Oct. 15 from 11 am to noon

Potential students might also be interested in joining Anoka-Ramsey’s Transfer Week events. Transfer Week is an annual event hosted by Advising Services to help students move from associate’s (A) degree to bachelor’s (B) degree.
Typically, the event is held on campus for current students to learn more about transfer planning and options at Anoka-Ramsey. With the events being held virtually this year, it provides opportunities for potential students to get a more detailed insight into the robust Transfer Pathways and opportunities available to students who get their start at Anoka-Ramsey.
Transfer Week events will include:
- Transfer Panels for students to learn about different colleges and universities
- Preparing to Transfer Workshops covering topics such as the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum (MnTC), Transferology, Transfer Pathways
Current students can also schedule one-on-one virtual appointments with counselors and advisors at other colleges and universities for more in-depth planning.
