The Mississippi River shoreline located on the Anoka-Ramsey Community College’s Coon Rapids Campus is eroding and is in need of repair. The college is undertaking shoreline restoration that includes stabilizing the riverbank soils to reduce the sediment load to the river, repairing aging and broken storm water drains, and developing an outdoor classroom with safe access to the river for environmental science teaching and learning activities.
