The Wellness Program recognizes the diverse needs and interests of the Anoka-Ramsey community, and we strive to offer programs that encourage healthy and active life-styles, facilities that allow for social interaction and development, and opportunities that empower participants and members to recognize balance and potential in their lives. The ARCC Wellness Program uses the Wellness Wheel to illustrate a wellness model with seven dimensions: emotional, intellectual, physical, social, environmental, financial, and spiritual. All of the dimensions are interconnected and important to a well-rounded and balanced lifestyle.
With an active interest in the wellbeing of the Anoka-Ramsey community, the individuals contributing to the Wellness Program represent ARCC faculty, staff, and students. The committee strives to fulfill its mission to impact the health and wellbeing by promoting healthful lifestyle choices within an environment that encourages wellness.
