PSEO Students

Orientation & Registration for PSEO Students

Step 1: Complete the PSEO Online Orientation Request Survey

After submitting the survey, you will receive an email with instructions on how to access and complete the PSEO Online Orientation. Expect to receive information about Step 2 within 1-2 business days.

Step 2: PSEO Online Orientation

Once you complete the orientation, you will be assigned an Academic Advisor within 1-2 business days. They will send you a welcome email with details on how to schedule an appointment.

Step 3: Advising/Registration Appointment

Before registering for your first semester courses, you must meet with your advisor to discuss your upcoming semester, course registration, and any final steps. This appointment can be held on-campus or virtually via Zoom.

How to Prepare for Orientation & Registration

Apply and Be Accepted to Anoka-Ramsey
Ensure you have applied and been accepted. If you need assistance, call 763-433-1100.
Haven't applied yet? Complete our free application. The deadline for PSEO students to apply and submit documentation for Spring 2025 is December 1.

Know Your StarID and Password
Your StarID is your login for all campus technology.

Meet with Your High School Counselor
Confirm which graduation requirements you plan to complete at Anoka-Ramsey and what you will take at your high school.
It is your responsibility to know your high school graduation requirements.

Send Official Transcripts (if applicable)
If you’ve taken previous college coursework (including PSEO, AP, CLEP, or IB credits), send official transcripts to Anoka-Ramsey. 
If you haven’t taken college courses, you can skip this step.

Familiarize Yourself with Anoka-Ramsey Student Technology
Access information on essential technology, including your Office 365 email, D2L Brightspace, and campus WiFi.

Course Registration

Spring 2025:

  • PSEO students who have completed placement and online orientation may begin registering for courses on Thursday, October 24.

Summer 2025:

  • PSEO students wishing to enroll in summer courses will need to pay out of pocket, as PSEO funding does not cover these courses. To register, students must complete the Financial Responsibility Agreement and submit it to PSEO@anokaramsey.edu before registering. Registration for summer courses will begin on Wednesday, November 6.

PSEO Student Registration:

  • First Semester: New PSEO students must register with the assistance of an advisor.
  • Subsequent Semesters: After their first semester, PSEO students can register independently, provided they have submitted the PSEO Notice of Student Registration form.
