  • SEVIS Fee (I-901)

You need your I-20 to apply for F-1 student visa at the U.S. Embassy in your home country. You must pay your I-901 (SEVIS fee) before your visa interview. The I-901 fee is currently $350.00. Course registration at Anoka-Ramsey is not permitted without this payment.

    F-1 Student Visa

You will not be able to start the Orientation & Registration process until your F-1 student visa is obtained.

  • International students are not eligible for federal financial aid. You must pay your full semester tuition and fees upon registration. You may risk losing your courses if you do not secure your payment. International students must maintain a full-time course load (12 credits or more) to maintain F-1 status. Below is an estimated expense for a full-time student for an academic year (Fall & Spring semesters) at Anoka-Ramsey.

*Please note that tuition may be higher than the above quote for specific programs and/or online courses.

  • Anoka-Ramsey will automatically enroll international students in the Mandatory International Student Medical Insurance plan provided by United Healthcare. You must pay your medical insurance prior to course registration. The cost is approximately $2,400.00 for an academic year. The medical insurance coverage will be valid from August 10, 2024 to August 9, 2025.
