How to Prepare for Orientation & Registration
Apply and Be Accepted to Anoka-Ramsey

Know Your StarID and Password
Your StarID is your login for all campus technology.
Begin the Financial Aid Process (if applicable)
Visit studentaid.gov to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Use Anoka-Ramsey’s school code: 002332.
For Spring 2026 or Summer 2026 complete the 2025-2026 FAFSA application.
Send Official Transcripts (if applicable)
If you’ve taken previous college coursework (including PSEO, AP, CLEP, or IB credits), send official transcripts to Anoka-Ramsey.
If you haven’t taken college courses, you can skip this step.
Familiarize Yourself with Anoka-Ramsey Student Technology
Access information on essential technology, including your student email, D2L Brightspace, and campus WiFi.
Course Registration Dates
Spring 2026:
- Registration for new and transfer students who have completed placement and online orientation will begin on Thursday, October 23.
Summer 2026:
- Registration for new and transfer students who have completed placement and online orientation will begin on Wednesday, November 5.
