Question
Why did you choose Anoka-Ramsey?
Answer
Anoka-Ramsey accepted my military credits, so I drove back to Minnesota to attend. Anoka-Ramsey is a great place to start for young adults, especially if they do not know what they want to major in. The staff are able to help students down that career path.

What is one of the best aspects of Anoka-Ramsey?
Answer
The Veterans Services office has been very helpful during my two semesters here.

What are your future plans?
Answer
I've only decided to do the transfer curriculum, which I will be graduating from at summers end. But my AA has helped me in my acceptance to Hamline University which I will be attending in the fall. I hope to live overseas for my senior year.

“I had absolutely no idea what I wanted to do with my life until I started taking Journalism classes at Anoka-Ramsey and writing for the school paper. The school’s slogan at the time was, “Anoka-Ramsey: It’s a Great Place to Start.” I still truly believe that.
I excelled in the Journalism and English classes and that gave me the confidence to stay in school and on the right path.
Without the start I received Anoka-Ramsey, I probably would not have finished college. And, with the job market the way it is, a college degree is more important than ever."
