    What is the best aspect of Anoka-Ramsey??

    Answer

    Having the flexibility to work while attending classes at Anoka-Ramsey made going back to school much easier.

    Did you have any favorite instructors?

    Answer

    Jennifer Friestad. She got know her students and encouraged us all to reach our goals. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with my ‘life’, and Jennifer  saw something in me that I couldn’t recognize myself. She saw that I had the talent to communicate effectively while encouraging others and  she suggested that I might want to look at sales for a career.  I am now working for a company that absolutely ‘fits’ in with what I seeking. 

    I wanted to work for a company in which:

    1. I have a name, not just an employee number.
    2. My participation and ideas are listened to and encouraged.
    3. I look forward to working at Monday through Friday.

    Any thoughts about the Business program?

    Answer

    Students will learn so much more than just the skills that employers are looking for. They will learn the ability to exceed employers expectations as well as their own!

    When you apply for a scholarship, you will likely get one. I received two scholarships my freshman year: The Otto Bremer Scholarship for $1,500 and the Presidential Scholarship for $3,000."
