Question
What originally brought you to Anoka-Ramsey?
Answer
Anoka Ramsey was close to where I was living at the time. It also had the program I was looking for, wonderful scholarship opportunities, small class sizes, friendly faculty and staff, and affordable tuition.

What would you say is the best aspect of Anoka-Ramsey?
Answer
The approachable faculty is the main tribute to my success as a student. I took mostly STEM core classes where the classes were small, but the content could get pretty heavy. Every instructor I had made me feel comfortable visiting their office get help. It was amazing how many instructors took very complicated concepts and broke it into pieces that I could understand in order for me to put them back together and learn something great.

Anoka Ramsey is an affordable way to find out what your passion is, and then foster its growth.

Anna has two wild dreams: to kayak Lake Superior and to convert a 1970 Ford pickup to electric in my own garage.

As an engineer, Anna wants to design renewable energy power systems that converge with current systems, and help make energy systems become more efficient and affordable. She hopes to be a part of the team that will someday provide renewable energy options to low income people.
