The Associate of Fine Arts degree (AFA) is designed primarily for students who plan to transfer to another college or university to complete a bachelor of fine arts degree. Depending on their interests, people pursue a fine arts degree because they like to work with images, productions, music and/or words, possibly performing in front of an audience or behind the scenes.
